Mr. Sanjay Poddar born in a family where timber trading was an integral part of everyday life, learning more about timber came naturally to him, and with this experience, expertise and technical know-how joined business in 1996 at Assam - India. He started by purchasing timber and supplying to various retail outlets all over India, thereby building a strong goodwill and network and creating a strong foothold. In 2001 he laid the foundation of SREE RANI SATI & Co at Delhi - India as wholesale sellers with specialization in Teak wood from Nigeria and Ghana. He has designed, articulated and implemented market strategies that have transformed the company from a small family run business to the larger and more structured organization it is today, known as SREE RANI SATI OVERSEAS PVT LTD, situated at New Delhi - India.
Furthermore, to enhance his business in overseas he established SRS OVERSEAS PTE LTD, a Singapore based company in 2018 which is subsidiary of SREE RANI SATI OVERSEAS PVT LTD, India. It is well acclaimed entity and has strong sales arm in the entire (SEA) South East Asia namely Vietnam, India, Bangladesh, etc. He has always insisted on following an ethical approach to business, and his customer centric approach has been a key factor that has contributed to getting business associations and a happy client base across the globe. He has vast experience in the timber trade with good presence in India, China and other Asian countries. He helped IGNITE GABON SUARL in 2017 & AURUM INTERNATIONAL in 2020 to setup their Face veneer manufacturing factory in GSEZ Gabon & KRISH VENEER INDUSTRIES in 2022 to set up their manufacturing plant in Buchanan, Liberia by providing his technical, geographical and commercial expertise right from setting up the factory to sales all over the world.
